Lee, I think this is called Artist's Arete and is a sandbagged 5.5. I think Right Side Route climbs the low angle ramp to the right of this then up some steeper stuff to the summit...

ok... and is it an alternate finish... ? or do you start somewhere else?

You climb the first pitch of Right Side Route and then at the pin belay you climb about two feet down and then up the fun low angled arete, with the crux being the step bulge near the top. Artist's Arete is second pitch variation to RSR, and should bring you to the summit in one long nice pitch :)

ok cool... way better than the other way IMO... and the way i do it feels 5.7 though there is an easier way around it i think...

I have always thought it was harder than 5.5 too if you stay on the arete proper, but maybe like you say there is a way around it...
