Cam re-slinging in Denver/Boulder

Looking for first hand experience/suggestions for a place to get some cams reslung in the Denver/Boulder area. I've been blessed with a gift of a dozen cams that are quite functional, but are a bit older. I've got the "wash, lubricate, and check for rust" part figured out, but I want to get new slings on them before I use 'em.

First hand experience, please. While I appreciate the intent, I'm not interested in hearing about the experience of a guy that your buddy's roommate met while climbing in Squamish.

Thanks, all.

If you send them to Yates (via mail) I believe they will re-sling any gear for a reasonable fee. Worth sending an e-mail to them.

I've been told that Yates will not re-sling cams older than ten years.

Sent you a PM

Wired Bliss will take care of you cams.

They are on the front range.

I sent a bunch to Mountain Tools:

mtntools.com/cat/rclimb/cam…

They are slightly more expensive than Wired Bliss, but Mountain Tools uses Dyneema where Wired Bliss uses nylon. The turnaround was real quick.

A second for wired bliss. wiredblissusa.com . Sadly they just left flagsaff for the front range where the owner is originally from. They do BDs just like the factory. Great with trigger wires too... the most professional work I've ever seen. Creatively fix really messed up cams too and fast.

Black Diamond does their own cams. And they get the colors right (which yates couldn't do last time I got my cams re-slung). I think most other companies do their own cams. If they don't they should.

Black Diamond and Metolius both do their own cams, and they both do an excellent job with fast turnaround. Metolius polished up my cams and threw in a bottle of cam lube, which was a really nice touch.
