Adopt a Crag event happening in your area.

Where: Lumpy Ridge, Estes Park CO
When: August 26th-28th. The Adopt a Crag takes place on Sat. August 27th
Hosted by: Colorado Mountain School
Details: On August 26-28, 2011, the Colorado Mountain School will host the 2011 Rocky Mountain Rendezvous. The weekend long event includes a Lumpy Ridge trail building day, climbing clinics by CMS guides and evening social events. The Rocky Mountain Rendezvous will attract climbers from the Front Range and throughout Colorado, and will be a destination for traveling climbers.

Up until 2010 this was a one day event strictly to build and maintain local climber access trails. For 2011 we are taking it one step further:
• Friday, August 26: An evening climbing social, raffle, giveaways, one slideshow.
• Saturday, August 27: During the day the Lumpy Ridge Trail Day will take place. Giveaways and raffles for all participants. That evening we’ll have another climbing social, raffle, giveaways and two slideshows.
• Sunday, August 28: The Colorado Mountain School will be offering climbing clinics during the day.

Come and check out the free event socials that include beer, professional athlete slideshows, giveaways, and more. Also included in the weekend is a Lumpy Ridge Trail Day, and climbing clinics. This is a weekend that you should not miss!

Every hour of time you donate to a crag helps show land managers that climbers are responsible stewards. Grab some friends and a pair of work gloves and spend a day giving back to the sport you love! We hope to see you there.
