Hi,

I'll be doing some work at MInes starting in September and I was wondering if anyone knew of some community housing resources. I'd like to find a place with some climbers and a yard for my dog. I've checked the standard places...craigslist etc....just wondering if anyone knows of anything else.

How hard is it to find a place in late August when school starts? Should I be looking now?

Thanks

Yes, the Golden market can be tight... college town and all. Start looking now. Get in touch when you get to town if you want to get out and about.

I'm happily employed...so I'm off the dirtbag economics...does price range make much difference, in terms of availability?

Or possibly try Morrison

Laurel Property Services is the main rental company in Golden. I've tried to go through them in the past but managed to always find a place before they could even get me in to see a rental. Other friends of mine have had great luck though.

Craigslist is where I've had the best luck. Just keep checking and if your pretty flexible price wise/ location, you should be fine. Places do tend to get rented very quickly.

I have a condo on the north end of town that may be opening up soon. Located in table mountain heights. 2bed 2 bath. Garage but no yard.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
