Does anybody know if it is possible to ski the Y-Couloir without having to climb back up? Looking to take the train up and leave a car somewhere where I can be ultra lazy and ski it without hiking. Any other options?

I know, it is pathetic, but it sounds like an ideal ski a 14er on the way down to Shelf.....

The two choices are 1) hike back up to the road from the Bottomless Pit. 2)From Bottomless Pit continue down to Manitou via Barr trail. The snow doesn't come that far down the mountain currently, so there would be a fair bit of walking involved.

if you are skiing the Y, it is pretty easy to get back to the road and hitchhike up (given that the road is open).

Is there any parking pull-offs near the bottomless pit in order to stash a car for a few hours?

Plenty of pullouts to park. Mile marker 17 is the general vicinity IIRC.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
