yeah, much harder than it looks... it is for real 5.10d crack climbing!

How does it compare in difficulty to Vultures at Sundown? Or is it an unfair/inaccurate comparison? To me, Vultures is not a true crack climb, but it is painful. :)

Vultures to me felt like a serious sandbag... not a fair comparison in my opinion... both great climbs but this is a real splitter crack the likes of which we dont see much in the east...

The difficulty would be better compared to Recluse at Cathedral. also .10d also hard crux at the bottom and sweet jams to the top and also full on .10d without being a sandbag :)

Hot Henry sandbags? Say it ain't so!
For history's sake, I hope the grade for Vultures stands. Likewise for many 'classics' in N. Conway and at The Gunks.

yeah, let the grades stand...
but the funny thing is that everyone knows that certain routes are sandbags so the grade is ignored anyway... i know when i did Vultures i was told to plan on hard 5.11 and id do fine, so the .10d grade meant nothing to me... like wise with any .9+ historically its fun but we all know to plan on hard 5.10 effort... The more i climb the less i put any stock grades, everywhere you go they differ...
