I am heading to Atlanta for a conference and flying my own plane down from Upstate NY. I would love to hook up with a climbing partner for this coming weekend, on my way to Atlanta. Since I am flying myself, I can fly to an airport either near, RED river gorge, some place in NC or Tennesse wall etc. I would just need someone to climb with and preferably someone who would pick me up at the airport.
I lead trad and sport. About 5.10 and have climbed for about 20 years.
Anybody want to get out?

I'm not sure what kind of plane you're flying, but there's a tiny airport in Cullowhee, NC. I go to WCU and I'd be happy to meet you there to go climbing. We could also meet at the Asheville airport and then go to Rumbling Bald. I'm also taking a RRG trip at the end of the month that there might be room on. I'll keep you posted on that. Let me know if these ideas sound good to you.

I sent you an email
either sounds good. I am checking on T wall but might fall through in which case Asheville would be really nice.

Tallulah Gorge would be good... its a a hour and some change from ATL. Curahee is also close to Tallulah. Good solid weekend of climbing right there!

Tallulah is going to be way way to hot this time of year and so will T Wall.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
