....CLIMBING?

So i am just wondering how many of us are going to watch the super bowl or go to some super bowl party. Or are you going to get out and climb? Maybe you will do both? or maybe do something completely different.

I just wondering ...

Well, if the super bowl is this Sunday then I will be climbing...50 degrees and sunny in February (on my day off) doesn't happen all too often.

Since the Super Bowl comes on in the middle of the night where I live, I will be climbing, then going to China Town to celebrate Chinese New Year, THEN watching the Super Bowl.

I had forgotten all about it until the wife said she was going to the store for some super bowl bargains. Not that we will watch the game just looking to save some money.

Watch the news, get the highlights, wouldn't waste a climbing day watching it. Sunday could be the day you are in the zone and cruise your hardest route ever. Or you might not find a line at a route you really want to do. Don't waste another day on your butt stuffing your face.

Super Bowl-I was under the assumption that this was a camping area at Indian Creek?

One of the nice things about living in the Eastern Time Zone, is that the game starts at 6:30, and it is already dark. For you guys, it cuts into your daylight hours. But then again, you have very little rain, a lot of sun, and a bunch of climbing options in the winter, so I think it's a wash.

Well, I'd rather be climbing - but since I have a broken ankle I won't be doing that for a while now. Still not watching the super bowl though.

Watch actions sports on TV or do them myself?

I think that's a pretty easy questions to answer.

I would be out climbing on what is forcast to be a beautiful 70 degree day in Red Rock...

But unfortunately I will be stuck at work all day so I will be doing neither. Such is life.

I don't support sports that I don't have a realistic opportunity to play. It might be fun to watch if I had played football as a kid.

Leave the spectator sports to the spectators. I'd rather play.

Got that beat. Our gym will be climbing and showing early game on several big screens, THEN after closing at 6PM, it's an after hours staff and family drinkathon, watch the game and climb some more!

People out west don't seem to love organized sports... dunno why. Maybe it's because all their teams suck?

I'll be watching. I have watched the Super Bowl in New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and tonight... England.

Hipsters love not watching tv and especially love not watching organized sports.
