Redstone Man Camp

Does anyone know where I can get beta for the mixed climbing in the Man Camp area near Redstone, CO?

Location and route descriptions?

I did indeed! I am about to climb all the route in Rifle with tools too. Not really, don't hang me sporties!!

I am headed down to Redstone this Saturday, need a ride?

If I get out on Saturday I might be headed over there if not Vail. It depends on whether or not I can get beta on the area. Do you know the area?

Unfortunately No, I don't know the Beta on the area, but I can inquire with a couple of folks from Carbondale when I am down this weekend.

It's up Coal Creek (road just past Redstone on the right)just off the road in a cave up the hill at the beginning of the rocks. Lot's of new mixed routes but no ice last I checked. It's been pretty lean up there this year with the lack of snow. I might try to make the drive up to scope things out tomorrow. I'll let you know if things have changed. Lot's of ice elsewhere in Redstone.

try to get in touch with Jeff Jackson or Duane Raleigh at Rock and Ice... they can definitely give you some beta... if they so desire

i'm sure that if it's being publicized now, the beta will be released at the upcoming Redstone ice festival
