Any beta for Joe's Valley?

I was down there last Friday, and it was pretty dry.

Conduction:
The transmission or conveying of something through a medium or passage, especially the transmission of electric charge or heat through a conducting medium without perceptible motion of the medium itself.

Is that what you meant? Just curious as I've never heard this in relation to ice.

i am curious as well! i plan to be heading out there in the first week of dec. if no ice, ill just boulder a bunch :D

I am sorry to report, ice conditions arent all that great there... I just got back from Joes today after a few days bouldering... From what I could see, there were 2 cascades in the left fork no more than 60 feet at the most that were in, and one cicle about 30 feet that might go if you reach up about 8 or so. When I left, it was snowing pretty good, and wet too. So if it freezes over, the ice should be good i guess in another month or so. For the most part, it looks like this:
