Climbing Carstensz Pyramid and Sumantri in Papua presented by Rob Cassady
Carstensz Pyramid is the highest island mountain in the world and considered by many to be one of the Earths famed seven summits. However, shrouded by damp weather and political instability it sees relatively few visitors. In June of 2010, Colorado teacher and author Rob Cassady joined up with Virginian Jeff Reynolds to see this mysterious peak before the glaciers melt away and the locals are completely westernized. Come experience the classic trek from the town of Ilaga, past waterfalls, karst spires, and towering cliffs to the summits of Carstensz and nearby Sumantri.
