I am in NC and can meet you at the New, anywhere in NC, and/or at T-Wall. I've not been to T-Wall but have been wanting to go. Even bought the guidebook. Otherwise, I am familiar with the others, more so with NC sites, which are many and excellent. I lead trad up to 5.10a and have been climbing for over 10 years. The weather forecast is great! Let me know.

Kent,
Thanks for the reply. My main question is what is your availability? AKA weekender or weekdays. Right now I'm looking to climb T-wall Oct 17-18-19 but i expect to have a partner for Sunday the 17th but would welcome a third. Monday, Tuesday are up in the air for me...(T-Wall is closed that Friday and Saturday for hunting, thinking of sport climbs @ Foster Falls?) I'll be climbing @ the New before that, and I think NC will have to wait till another time, like when I'm a better climber...

Parker,
I am available most days of the week, so I could make that Mon and/or Tues at T-Wall. You should consider doing some climbing in NC on the way to Tenn. If you are leading 5.7 at the Gunks, you will be fine at lots of NC sites.

To be sure my only experience with NC climbing was looking up at Ship Rock and thinking "oh $#!t"... just not sure I can fit NC into the time frame available, but I may well be coming back thru for future possibilities... As for T-wall, that would be your decision, that is certainly a haul from Charlotte...I'll be there...

You're right, it would be a long trip from Charlotte. I was thinking that you would swing through NC on your way to Tenn., which would break up the trip for me. So I think that I will pass on this opportunity, but let me know if you are around these parts another time. Have fun.
