Description Suggest change

Start by groveling up the wide crack to the right of the blunt rounded arete. After the awkward start, move left onto the arete proper. Continue with delicate technical moves up the from of the arete until the crux sequence up onto the large ledge to the left is encountered.

Once established on the ledge move straight up to the steeping face. What follows is straightforward, albeit enjoyable, face climbing on small positive flakes.

As you near the top move right to gain a large but very fragile flake. Gingerly move up this flake until possible to make a move to the anchors.

Location Suggest change

Right side of the face that lies right of center. This climbs the face immediately left of Wooly Mammoth

Protection Suggest change

6 bolts, double chain anchors
