The skeetoes would land on our mud caked bodies and realize they could not penetrate the crusty goodness and fly way. It was awesome. We both still ended up with dozens and dozens of bites from before the mud bath. I have 22 on my left shoulder alone.

This place rivals the Northeast when it comes to mosquitoes. We spent our evenings in full rain gear when we camped/climbed there last year. The beautiful setting and wild nature more than made up for this bit of discomfort though.

Is that Roach's leg? Seem to recall she resorted to this on a bug-spray-less trip.
