check out that splitter out right when you magnify it. Makes me wonder if you have to actually go and try out the rock in the Swell to find out if its going to be solid or not. Sounds like that tower you did was soft and this photo obviously looks it.

Seems like "dirtfall" is a more apt description. Amazing how little of that is actually big blocks like you normally get when a section of cliff collapses.

The rock quality varies greatly. Somewhat soft in this area.

Some recent rockfall visible from Napes Needle. Looks like it happened fairly recently because there are no plants growing in it yet.
