This was most certainly correct. I checked other shots and it's a 100% match. So I guess we move on to Brian's "u.s.a" picture above.

And I've done that very route, which is something on Mt Diablo.

I'm going with Amazing Face on my guess. Is that the one that finished to the nice round hold that's in your right hand. I recall that one, just not 100% sure of on which route!

So very very close. Its Mont Diablo Boy Scout Rocks The middle tier, Unknow 5.9. Worst route there, just happen to have a pic. Amazing face is on the lower tier about a hundred yard away which is the best climb there. Sorry no pics.

No tick checking alowed. Good work though. Would have got the bubble had I chimed in earlier. Ive done routes next to that one.

No tick-checking necessary- if you look at my "ticks" (Stars/comments/grades) you will see that I've done most of those routes. The area is pretty distinct, but the routes are not. Anyway, that's why I guessed the most "classic" line of the area- because the thread was about well-recognized classics.

Hmmm. what next? Someone will jump on this one quickly since it shows the whole classic line:

Your legit. I did check your ticks and saw you've climbed the bay are. Like I said good work. I'm new at this but it looks like the tahoe area.

um....yes, there are other ways, but some of my fondest trips have been those mega route days at sport areas such as wild iris.

here's an example of another way to climb the opposite:
name this boltless classic!
