Description Suggest change

The South Area is the first part of the edge to come into sunshine, which can make it the place to go if there has been recent rain, or it is a cold winters day. It also has some of the best climbs at Harrison's which makes a good place to go anytime.

This section of the edge runs west to east, and faces south.

The sections are described left to right.

Getting There Suggest change

From the approach path, drop down to the bottom of the edge and follow it south. When the edge takes a sharp turn left you are at the start of the area.
