climbing at deception pass??

Is it legal to climb at deception pass? Does any one know of any routes there??

A bit of a wet belay, don't you think? Looks rad but I don't like belaying from a dingy. Hahaha

If this is deception pass up by anacortes, the water provides a real hazard for anyone. Sometimes you get whitewater kayakers going through.

I don't know about the rock up there, but you'll have to manage the currents and swinging tides as well. Just a heads up.

I'm pretty much going to forgo the boat thing and rap down to see if it will go with out too much cleaning. If it will then I'll set up hanging belays if needed. I think those walls would really make for some really cool climbing experiences:)

I cant find good pics of the cliffs from a climbers perspective. Any out there?

They are gonna have to be some sick routes to get any traffic though...

There is no climbing allowed in Deception pass state park.
