C'mon he's from the Northeast so probably a MIT science kind of person and not one for literary fine points. Ole Kentuck' or Tinisee is just fine for me.
Next week? Geez schools get off earlier and earlier these days for 'spring break' it seems. I'm stuck waiting until almost Easter week to get away. Sorry.
Tennessee is further south, so maybe a bit warmer. And Miguels isn't open yet for the season at RRG so that's a good reason to pass on it.

Looks like good temps next week for Chattanooga, TN. Twall would be prime.

sunder thanks for the heads up.

as far as my spelling goes gentelment, thanks woodchuck. I actually focused on 16th century spanish lit in my undergrad and currently teach spanish grammar. Yea, i couldnt spell a state name because i am lazy, but i can read archaic poetic prose in spanish... lol. anyway, i suck at spelling, but i love climbing

Finding a warm day might be challenging, but not finding a dry climb. There are loads of overhanging lines that stay dry no matter what.

After a bit more searching of the online guide you might be okay. 20 sport routes 5.9+ and under that say they stay dry. 30 trad routes 5.7 and under..

believe it or not, it can still be hard to find dry rock in the Red when there is a lot of condensation (think warm after being cold), seepage, and runoff. Next week looks cold, but not too conducive to condensation induced wet rock.

It'll be hard to find warm-ish rock too since it's going to be 30's and snowing next week according to NOAA

also why is this in the gear section?

Yes. "Stay dry" and "is dry" are two different things. I'm going to wager that most everything 5.10 and under is a sopping mess, unless they have had a stretch of dry sunny days and then maybe a few of those are dry.

Go to Chatty: tons to do there, T-wall will be blazing in the sun (really warm). And you have LRC to go bouldering all you want. Save the red for Spring (probably will still be raining and sopping wet though).

and really?

Spelling is not that hard of a thing. What is a "gentelment"?
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
