Boy, I was down there in January for about 3 weeks awhile back, never saw any weather close to snow. It was warm and balmy t-shirt weather the whole time.

How normal is it to get snow there?

Once a year, in December usually the organs get blasted with snow

This happened to be a particularly snowy couple of weeks, there was about 8" of new snow down on the Modoc Mine road when we started hiking. Much deeper up high. We rappeled off the north side into a little swale, it was chest deep, and I started to think about avy danger (yes, in the Organs). Seriously the Organs get some snow every winter, but it melts off quickly except in the north facing spots, where it can linger surprisingly long.
