Too much slack!

People occasionally break ankles from TRing ice when they fall with slack out. On rock it doesn't matter; on ice it does.

Otherwise, tre cool pic.

think the belayer was a split second from taking up rope after the move. ANY fall, be it on TR or lead, can be an awful ankle mess up when wearing crampons, that's for sure.

..and if that pic by Sunder was taken the same year it was posted, then that was the LAST time there was so much ice in Wildcat canyon. Been no ice or climbing 9officially, legally) in the park for the most part over the last 3 ice seasons due to no flow and freezing.
