I would recommend the dashed line a 1000 times over the gully looker's right. Unless you LOVE brush.

Actually I would now recommend the next gully lookers left (east) a thousand times over the dashed line.

loved the climb but word to the wise- the descent is NOT fun. Bring extra water and stash at the bottom of slab for just in case. The sun and starting approach too late almost did me in.

The descent: I found the gulley from the top of the ridge to the saddle (between the two drainages) to be the trickiest part. From the saddle you can bushwack the drainage (the right gulley in the pic) or hike down the drainage to the begining of the climb.
