You need a high tolerance for choss (and perhaps even an appreciation for choss) to enjoy AC/DC, but yeah, for the most part the climbing is better than it looks.

There's some really great rock in Rock Canyon, both in the quartzite and limestone. But this wall ain't where it's at. It's fun, to be sure, but it takes a certain kind of climber to feel that way. Climbing on this crap, though, is good training for the desert :)

I get all of that. I've done a ton of routes on chossy rock that climb very well. Its a lot like riding a moped... or a cow... (we all get that)

It was just funny to find this one of the featured photos on the front page? I mean, how could this pile of choss be among the classic pics on all of mountainproject?
