It's hard to see due to the shade but there is a Camalot #4 stuck right in there. We did it with one 60m rope but it did involve some sketchy down climbing though.

Here the tilt of the camera does injustice to the route. That right-hand arete is way steeper than it looks in the photo.

How come your belayer doesnt have a helmet? He's more likely to get hit by rockfall than you are.

johnnymuir: Yeah, it's silly, he had it hanging on his harness too. He was not paying much attention to me neither... Maybe not the right belayer for a hardcore route like this, but it was a take or leave it situation. I just had to go for it.

For what its worth this is actually probably more dangerous than anticipated. Recently one of the rock triangle BLM logo rocks fell off the sign from someone hanging off it with a sling or something similar. Would not want that thing falling on you. Probably best to leave the climbing to the mountains.
