Description
Originally found by Avery so it has been dubbed the Avery boulder. The holds on this thing are sooo unique. Most of the holds consist of two finger pockets or pinches with good friction. The only down side is it tears up the fingers. Landings are flat and top outs are pretty solid. This is faily new so there are several FA's waiting to be had.
Getting There
Take Central Ave north from Highway 35 about a mile until it intersects with Columbia St.
Another option is to take the 40th ave exit off of Highway 35. Take a right on 40th ave and then a left on west 8th street. Take 8th street about six blocks then take a right on north 53rd ave west and then a left on Columbia St, take that till it meets Central Ave.
Please park on the correct side of the road. Walk up to the train tracks and take a right and follow them about 100 yards. The boulder is on the north side of the tracks. It can be hard to find as it is behind several trees.
