Looking for a car

Hi.

I just came to boulder and I'm looking for a way of transportation
to boulders. I think I would need to buy/rent a car for the next
three months. It should be able to bring me as far as from boulder to
Evans or RMNP, might look terrible, I don't care. Would be cool if it's as cheap as possible. Feel free to mail me at fijall at gmail.

I might have the perfect car for you.

I've got a '98 Subaru Outback wagon that's got a bad head gasket just sitting around. I'm not sure how bad the head gasket is, but I wouldn't be surprised if you get 3+ months out of it. Of course you might not either.

It needs an emissions test, but it should pass that. It's got pretty new (and very good) tires on it.

I'll be back in town next Tuesday if you wanna come take a look at it and/or drive it around for a minute. You're also welcome to bring it to a shop and see if they can tell exactly how bad the gasket is.

Drop me a PM if you're interested in checking out this car.

Get a van and live in it! Save some money. Go anywhere. Don't worry about forgetting your gear at home!

As I noticed your thread on the front page, this was the Photo of the Moment:
