Hey all - Does anyone have recommendations for scales that are appropriate for weighing gear? I'm looking for something that can do pounds as well as ounces. Thanks!

just had a buddy ask me this the other day.

Go to UPS or FED EX hubs or drop offs. NOt the kinko's type.
But the ones with real scales.

Try Pelouze - many models. Highly accurate, but not cheap....be sure to shop around, as prices vary.

I have a Pelouze PE-5 for small items (5 lb limit), and a hanging digital fish scale for heavier things like packs, ropes, etc. (50 lb limit).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
