Nice stance. The belayer better be aware that ticks love those grassy ledges as well. Tis the season for ticks. Back east that would be perfect chigger territory.

Belaying from a narrow ledge, the "Elephant Walk", that runs atop all existing routes at Derrydale Cliff. This grassy ledge is a comfortable place from which the leader can belay the second, and it has an outstanding view of Sespe Creek.
