Winter Trails Day

Snow is no reason to stop hiking. Though your favorite footpath may be covered in deep powder, why pine for spring when you can slip on a pair of snowshoes and get out on the trail all winter long? Snowshoeing, after all, is simply hiking in winter. Winter Trails Day is a free snowshoe festival with hundreds of demo snowshoes for adults and children; guided hikes; snow activities; outdoor gear displays and free giveaways. Bring food and water. For tips on what to wear or bring, ask one of our expert staff. Beginning at 2:00 PM, the available quantity of demo equipment will be restricted; so be sure to arrive early enough so that you can demo each and every model in your interested in. For more information and a schedule of events, visit www.rei.com/stores.
