Sometimes a little danger solidifies a good day into a spectacular one. This was one of those moments that was scary and cool at the same time. We were nearing the top but still had 300-400ft above. Going down would have been a miserable option and definately would have resulted in leaving gear. Lightning was coming closer and eventually we were soaked by rain. The rock wasn't too bad but there was a good bit of lichen on the upper pitches that turned quite slick. 1000+ foot waterfalls were all over the place. That was a day I'll remember for a long time.
