Never understood why you'd want to camp on top of Bonney Pass...

One reason to camp at Bonnie Pass is the incredible views in multiple directions! I also like the good position from there to climb Gannett Peak. We camped at Bonnie Pass on our second night. The next morning we dropped down across the glacier, up to the Gannett Peak summit, then back down across the glacier, and back up to Bonnie pass again; that's a pretty good day's hike in itself. After a little food and rest, we broke camp and hiked down into Titcomb Basin to camp our third night. The next day we hiked all the way out to Elkhart Park and drove back to Utah completing a four day trip.
