Stratosphere?

I've had three friends disappear without a trace attempting the "alleged" StratoDragonWalker...don't do it!

Props to Nigro for those painter pants in the guidebook.

Bob D., with luck I will make it to your restaurant to sample the scotch line up...my dance card is pretty booked though in the short term!

I'm not really much for organizations that would have me...but the Black frat is pretty good company!!!

Chad, take a look at Stoned Oven, slightly saner "entry level"(wink) 5.11 for the Black

Now Brent you aren't going to go try this whimsy now are you?

Actually I thought "Walking the Dragon to a stratospheric Forrest" would be a good moniker. Or if you will.. W(ow)D(oes)S(hit)F(ly).

Yeah those painter pants could prop themselves up after the FW.

What restaurant? Where? Did someone say scotch?

Hey Kevin Strickler you climb way harder than I do now so you can rib me all you want. Plus you got a beautiful wife and child. You are a lucky man. But i am sure you already know that.
I am just an oppinionated mouthy old crust bucket who doesn't know he is old and in the way.

Think about posting your W. Arete adventure on the more black canyon thread on super topo.

Haha...Phil I know you are one of those crusty Black veterans that is probably more gristle than meat, climb two days without water, and run down the cruise gully in your flip flops types...You guys are my hero's.

As for the Black adventure...I am working the story in the slow kind of way so that when it is done it will have been so long ago that I can make everything much larger than life...you know up hill in the snow both ways barefoot...But yea I will get around to it. I sure have enjoyed some of the stories you have posted there.

So anyone know if Grug has got his mojo back? I know he was psyched for Stratosphere until his spanking on Sistine Reality...I hope he gets after it...

I'm sure Grug will be back in the Spring, totally dude.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
