I've never seen Aquarius done that way. Isn't that the hold that some people use on Techno? How does this sequence work?

it was different for sure but it worked well for this guy, Dave if my memory serves...

he just went up farther left than most people then broke right in to basicly the same sequence most people do for the second half of this section... it seemed to unlock footwork that he liked...

That's cool that it worked for him. It amazes me that people have been doing routes a certain way for years and years and then someone comes around and just does things differently.

It reminds me of how Sharma did the sequence on Coral Sea. People said that it would never go without the toe-hook, but he came along and basically campused up the bad slopers and made it look like 5.8. Incredible.

After being shut down by attempts at other beta, I saw this picture and tried beta very similar to it today. It completely unlocked the sequence for me. Highly recommended!
