A History of Climbing Mt. Rainier
Dee Molenaar, at 88 years old, will present the history of climbing and climbers on Mt. Rainier, from Native Americans and the first Westerners, to WWII military training, and modern times. This is Dee’s second annual, last ever, visit to Boulder for a lecture. In addition to being “The” Mt. Rainier historian he has climbed on McKinley, Mt. St. Elias, and K2. Dee’s paintings and his book, The Challenge of Rainer will be available for sale.

Show starts at 8:00 PM. Cost is $5 (package price $20-includes shows Oct. 3, 11 and 16) – ticket price includes in store discount
