This area is the hidden gem of moab! If you're like me and love to jug this is the place for you! One of my favorite things to do in moab is go sport rappelin' and then jug back up the line. Super Fun and a great workout!

The real good pitches are the top and bottom pitches. Both offer great free hanging rappeling and juggin'. Altough the bottom pitch lacks quantity it does offer a quality lower half. As for the top pitch... well whom ever says size doesn't matter is crazy!

email me if you also like big jugs. Maybe we could hook up.

All these years later, it's a great memory of mine: Waking up early with my close friend and climbing partner, Bill Ellwood. After a night spent on the rim, we engineered the rappells, dashed over to South Crows Head, ticked the FA of Yesterday's News (second ascent of the spire, we think) rapped off, dashed back and jugged back out, finishing our day just before sunset.

At camp, I chugged ice cold water from the cooler. Ice cold beer followed.

Next day we were able to tune the radio to a oldie country music show airing from the Ute Mountain Reservation. We heard a bunch of great songs including "Roly Poly, Roly Poly" and "Yesterday's News".

Here's a link to Roly Poly:
