Love it! What kind of BD pack is that? It looks a little bigger than the Bullet. I do the rock trick, too. Always put a decoy rock at the top, and the real lead at the bottom... :)

I believe you are correct John. I love the pack for routes here in Red Rocks and beyond. A pretty simple pack with few frills or extra crap.

I like that rock trick myself--in fact one time we snuck a bowling ball into a dude's pack before a long approach.

While climbing long routes, however, I believe each climber should carry his own small pack rather than have the second carry a heavier one.

I agree, it's best to each carry a smaller pack. But that means it's also best to put more smaller rocks in your partner's smaller pack when given the chance.
