So, are people doing the straight up finish beta more now, or still using the release the toe hook and try not to fly off method?

Mark, the beta has "evolved" away from the toe hook method.

Foley recently found beta where he gets his left foot above his left hand on the good sidpull, kneebars into the corner, and does a straight situp to the lip. Astounding.
