Question about shoe resoleing

I hope it is okay to post this topic in this forum. I wasn't sure which one would be better.

Anyway, I have a pair of Boreal Aces that I'd like to get resoled. Does anyone have any recommendations? They are going to need a new half sole and also a new rand.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Rock and Resole

Get your shoes in Monday and you can have them back by Thursday.

Dave: I've used Rock 'N Resole in Boulder for a couple of jobs. Others may disagree but I thought their work was fine and they offer many options (half sole, rands, a variety of rubber/thickness). They have a website where you can download the order form. Good luck.

I dont live in the Denver/Boulder area, so I have never used Rock and Resole, though I have heard good things. I usually ship my shoes out for resoling since there is no where in the Springs to get it done.

I will recommend Yosemite Bum. They are based in CA so you have to ship, and my times with them have averaged a little over a week. This is a bummer on the time, but its the only drawback I have noticed so far. These are the same dudes who started Evolv shoes. They do really nice work, are cheap, and if you have a pair of Evolvs they will have those babies like NEW when they come back.

Just got a pair back from Postive Resoles out of J-tree. Amazing job! I got a pair resoled from another company here out east but not near the same quality. Go with PR

Rock & Resole gave me half soles and toe caps on both my Mythos for $25 and turned them around from Friday to Monday with minimal begging. Those guys are great. They can even work out an after-hours dropoff if you ask.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
