First Around South Georgia - featuring Graham Charles
In October 2005 the Adventure Philosophy team from New Zealand completed one of the last great sea kayaking journeys - the circumnavigation of South Georgia Island. Deep in the southern ocean, South Georgia is famous for its unbelievably abundant wildlife, dangerous coast lines and killer gales. South Georgia was made famous in 1914 when Sir Ernest Shackleton landed there after the world's most amazing small boat journey and rescued his stranded men.
Experience the excitement and anxiety of doing what no others have managed to complete. Stunning imagery and video footage combined with a dry 'Kiwi' narrative will make for an inspiring story and evening entertainment.
