I have a close friend who has been looking for that rock
for the last 10 years after some Indian medicine woman told
him about it and its history for cures.
Can you provide some reasonable directions that I can pass
on to my friend.

Don't count on it Panther. This is a super secret Josh place. You've gotta be on Gordon's top 43 locals list. I've been lobbying Chris forever, and all I can say is don't hold your breath...

Checked this off my things to see/find/stumble upon. I will trade beta for those who can direct me to the ellusive White Elephant.

It's over there, around that thing, past the big rock on the left, around the bend, over the hill, through the J tree's, watch out for the puddle of sand. When you go through all that you will be there at the Magic Rock.

For those of you that have been searching for this; it will really make you mad to find out that you can see it from the road, easily.

Where is this?? My father in law showed me a pic he took next to "her" in 1937. What a crazy B&W pic this was. He had his hand in, and never looked happier.
