"INTO THE UNKNOWN: The Remarkable Life of Kraus" Banff Mountain Book Festival finalist, bio of American climbing great. Climbing Magazine called Kraus' High Exposure -- from 1941 -- maybe the most famous route in America! But Kraus was also one of the great unsung medical pioneers of the 20th century, JFK's secret White House back doctor, and lived a life so full and fearless, as one AAC president said, "His cojones were so big, he needed a bag to carry them in."

Reviews include:
Climbing Magazine: "Brilliant, lusty, full of life and passion."
Rock_Ice: "Hats off to a great piece of writing! Beautiful and touching." Matt Samet
