Description

Sykes calls this a "wilderness gem", with 16 climbs from 5.5 to 5.11c/d. The main cliff is quite high, 150-180 ft while the LEFT and RIGHT ENDs have shorter (40-50 ft) climbs.

Getting There

Driving west on Rt 112 you pass enter the White Mountain National Forest at a large sign on the right. 0.45 miles beyond this, on the right (north) is a green electric box (# 6488) on an embankment.

Park completely off the road opposite this, or in any of the nearby gravel or paved parking lots.

Enter the woods at the electric box. The path soon reaches an old railroad bed (cairn) then heads down left, then back right through a swampy area and on to the river. Cross the river.

Continue to, and cross, a smaller brook; then look for a logging road up to the right. This leads to a boulder field and Lower Primate Wall.
