We were climbing on the slabs above highway 50 west outside of Meyers. I have looked up at this wall for the last 3 years and finally had a chance to check it out. What I got myself into was a runout mixed route that ended up being rather fun with bolts right when things were getting too airy. Id say 10a and worth the hike. I cant find this area anywhere on MP or any website. Any local knowledge out there?

I used to live in Meyers. I went up there one day. I climbed some slab route that was scary as shit and runout. Maybe the same one? I forget how I found out about it.

Goddam I miss the Tahoe.

I'm pretty sure that is bat wall. It's in the Carville guide.

Ah, I found it in the Carville Guide. It's the ManGod Wall. Obscure!

Left to right:

Great Golden Beaver .10b
ManGod .11a
The right Hand of God .10b/c
Son of God .10b/c

I remember being on what I thought was the second one over, Mangod. It was scary and runout on "nothing" slab. I was gripped and looking at a 30-40 foot fall on slab, and considering whether to cheese grate, or "run-down". I pulled it though. Good times!

This was like 2008 or something.

Park at the gunmount and prepare to bushwack straight up. Or approach from the top, in the saddle between "echo edge" and Flagpole peak.

Have fun! Please leave no trace.

I'm not sure what we were on, but we started ~20ft left of the main corner, up a dihedral, passed a fixed pin, pulled right over the bulge, and then its ~10ft to a bolt. Then it was ~15-20ft btw. the rest with some pretty good gear in between. Most memorable part of it was a semi-bomber .75 i finally placed in a diagonal seam up high and pulling on tiny orange crystals up the steep slab above. Definitely had pucker factor. The hangers were still shinny, but the bolts were looking pretty rusted. I think they may have been 3/8". Chain anchors at the top, can rap with a 70m line.
