Laughable from someone that knows next to nothing. Here in B.C. Canada Marijuana has been the #1 cash crop for decades. Lumber is #2. That got funded by our side and was Billions in just one province. There is little doubt that our side spent in the TRILLIONS WorldWide. Another Marijuana fact.

Leave poopy alone he is one of the few really knowledgeable posters here. Sure glad it wasn't you we were depending on to lead this cause. Our Great leader Marc Emery got extradited to the US for selling seeds. We want him transferred to Colorado and some honors awarded Marc

You are mixing industrial hemp with recreation/medicinal use crop to form a faulty conclusion. From Health Canada:

Health Canada controls the importation, production, processing, possession, sale, transportation, delivery and offering for sale of industrial hemp. All industrial hemp grown, processed, and sold in Canada must contain 0.3 percent THC or less in the leaves and flowering parts. In addition a maximum level of 10 parts per million (ppm) for THC residues in products derived from hemp grain, such as flour and oil has been set under the regulation. The 0.3 percent THC concentration level serves as the major dividing line between industrial hemp and cannabis plants with intoxicating levels of THC commonly referred to as “marijuana”.

Yes and true Stoners hate Hemp as much as we dislike prohibitionists. The low grade pot plants can ruin outdoor crops. Now if they grew the real stuff we wouldn't have a problem with it.

When I was in Amsterdam. At a the cannabis cup. There were hemp speakers saying they didn't agree with marijuana. Get them off the stage and their rags with them. No Hemp forum will ever let a pro marijuana speaker talk. They have distanced themselves from us all along. Boo Hemp. Double Boo.

So... so does that total of billions still contribute to the multiple trillions you claim?
As in, 8% of the annual total world gross product? Spent on the battle to legalize MJ? As in .5% of the entire gross world product of $1913T since it was restricted? Spent on the battle to legalize?
the shit BETTER be a cure-all if that is the case.

For a smart guy, you sure are an idiot if that is what you are suggesting when you said:
" The Bad Guys spent Trillions of Dollars and Our side doubled that. That's why some of us are poor."

I still say you are poor because you are bad at math.

^^^Sweet Doug,
I never thought I'd see the "Boo, Double Boo" so nicely played on a discussion about the devil's lettuce on a climbing forum.

More people died from falling off a rock than from smoking Marijuana and that is another Pot fact.

It's handy having lots of loud mouthed misinformed people here just to bring out all the misconceptions that abound about our beloved Cannabis. It would be a very one sided argument and it brings the best out in our side. We are not going to take their crap anymore.

I just read a really interesting article in TIME about one of the unforeseen problems with the pot biz here in CO. Since it is still illegal on the federal level, most of the time, banks cannot and will not do business with legal pot operations. This is forcing the businesses to deal in cash and causing real safety concerns. Basically, even though it is legal, the businesses are still forced to operate like a cartel, hiding cash, inconspicuous briefcases, etc.

You can see the article here, though I think you have to subscribe.

Of course the banks won't take it.
Since 'policy' is to leave them alone for now, the gubbermint is only 1 policy statement away from taking all the money under forfeiture anyway. Smart owners would be dealing in cash too... possession is 90% of the law, so keep it in hand or sue to get it back. What would you choose?
IT sucks, but unfortunately that's how it stands at this point. Like I said - the fight (let alone the war) is not done.

The Banks make way more laundering money than taking deposits. You can expect them to fight Legal Pot every way they can.

Weed pointer:
If you have a long legged girl that offers to get you some pot. DO IT. They often get great deals. Some of the best pot I ever had, came by that way.

lol, the package delivery companies are doing quite well now in CO I bet! It seems people are sending quite a bit of coffee and peanut butter to their out of state friends.

What are the Teachers in Colorado and Washington State saying about Marijuana?

Educators are one of the major propaganda sources, they have lied to generations of children about Marijuana. They are afraid to come clean.

I'm on Linkedin teachers lounge (for a while) they won't like what I have to say. You can bet on that. Could use a few Stoners over there to back me up or carry on once I have been banned.

Another true life pot / hash story

A baggage check of a football player produced some hash
The offensive lineman reached across and grabbed the chunk; taking it to the washroom and flushed it.

More checking and another chunk of hash. The Lineman grabbed it and with a couple baggage people draped over him, he made his way to the washroom and flushed that.

Continued checking produced another chunk of hash. This time the toilet wouldn't flush and my favorite player got busted.

His name was Hector Pothier. After that incident his teammates would call the Hash marks the "Hector marks"
As told by one of his teammates..

In regards to the banks and legal pot shops, I just heard on NPR (this morning) that Eric Holder is speaking on that topic (I believe in CO) today.

It was noted that the fed wants to facilitate access to banks by legal pot shops because it is a law enforcement issue when retail people deal in cash, and have piles of it sitting around.

With President Obama's recent comments about pot, and the legalization of pot, and with this news I heard on the radio, it seems to me the fed is starting to shift it's view of pot being illegal. Even though it still is illegal at the federal level, it seems that it is only a matter of time before that changes too.

Dude
So you randomly join Internet forums like LinkedIn teachers lounge and MP just to spew fourth your gibberish about pot being sacred medicine or beloved cannabis? It's a fucking plant. Used appropiately it can bring about mental or physical relief, sure, but use of this product should be kept on the down low out of sight of children and people who do not wish to see or smell you while you partake in your religion.

This is a climbing forum and the topic just so happens to be about MJ.
You should not be aloud to speak to children especially about pot.
That's why the great and almighty Jah made Justin Bieber.

Should you not be allowed, or should you simply not do it aloud?
Just trying to be clear.
Frankly, I just hope that the people teaching my kids have better spelling and grammar than do I.

Locker and Tony the "you" I was referring to was mr Doug.
I hope he is not in a position to influence many children with his sacred medicine crap. Although I think the picture of him and the kids looking for rocks to smoke out of would make a good album cover.

.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
