Great shot Christian!

That wave would have been a 10 for Parko and flipped the final result; pretty smart use of priority on Kelly's part.

Hey... been a while.

Not much to report from the least coast in the way of waves this summer fall (so far). Weird not one hurricane this season, which is better than being slammed I rekon. We got some small waves a few weekends ago and a dude came out with a camera and got this shot right when I was getting out. Like it with the hand drag and morning light silhoutte (sp, not even gonna try).

Hey Olaf, howisit bradda. Hope all is well out there... been checking the Momma's cam and lol how it keeps going back to the flag pole. Which came first, the flag pole or the camera. Anyway, winter season is upon you and I would be ever so grateful for a few more morning Hookipa photos (or anywhere else for that matter).

East Coast, West Coast or Tropical, let's get this train rolling again... what say ye?

oh yea, remember the baby in the basket from volume 1. Here are a few photos from his first trip to looking Glass, just the 2 of us. Did not climb and, as a disclaimer, did not know the folks climbing on top of each other. I should have gone to the Nose/SunWall area instead of the SouthSide (selfishly hoping to get on someones rope but it didn't happen, kind of a weird scene up there that morning.)

Anyway, cheers to all from South Cackalacky!

To the Glass

hurry up old man

who's leading who?

oh hail yea!

Shame you're not getting surf. California has been getting some great stuff. Sunday was EPIC.

Without pics....it wasn't.

Nah, I hear you... a few weeks ago the weather map showed a huge low pumping south swell and another huge low pumping north swell onto the west coast... that is when I sit in my truck, listen to The Mammas and The Pappas song, California Dreaming..... and cry a little bit.

I would love to see some regular joe shots from your parts... don't think you have to worry much about giving away spots on this forum.

Peace

I had the chance to body surf and boogie board in San Diego many moons ago, so I know how powerful the draw to the ocean can be.

Not sure if you beach bums have seen this video, enjoy!

Heyun, Thanks for bumping this thread along Dude!
The conditions have been so/so lately and I have had good work so I haven't been that excited to surf.
We have had a few good days here and there and I made time for those events.
I scored some glassy waves in my back yard this morning. It was a bit crowded with SUPers. In spite of that, I did score some sweet nuggets. Then I got out of the water pretty early and walked home and made a leisurely breakfast. I guess ya can't ask for more than that this time of year.
We are stoked for the first big swells to arrive and I'll try to keep y'all abreast of the action here on the North Shore as usual. Cheers Olaf

The picture makes it look like he's jumping into the trough of the wave but he's gotta be jumping out the back? seems to defeat the purpose to jump right into a pounding
