Vail Conditions-Fang-March Madness

Things in Vail are lookin' good. Went up today to have a chat with the Fang. This is my second time leading this monster this year. Seemed pretty solid with the water running strong thru the 'straw' and solid ice to the hairy connection with the curtain above, couldn't be much more around than my waist, half of which is hollow. Great moves through the roof. In solid 5++ conditions but all there. With thoughts of Matt for a speedy and FULL recovery.
There is a screw at the curtain lip right that (I believe) had been intentionally left by strong climbers working on Red Bull/Vodka mixed line, please do remove it. Spiral area doing well and the Desi formed a great vert line on the right edge with virgin ice so that was fun too. Booth feeling the longer, sunnier days although the two lines left look pretty fat. Firehouse is huge and the hole exists for Lowe Pressure, what a great mod mixed line! Come n' git it! March Madness in Vail!

NOthing beats the Fang in March, except some Fang in mid April too!

I was there two days ago and couldn't decide about how cracked the top and bottom was.
I decided not to lead the thing but other than the narrow top, it did seem solid..
