Description

Edgy and sometimes slick basalt with small but stong holds. in and near the crack has some loose stuff to beware of but nothing serious. crux is about 20 feet up when holds get small and reachy and ends at the large horizontal crack.

Location

Park at the second cattle guard you come to near the large powerlines and follow a bouldered off trail to the top of the wall and the anchor spots. Either scramble down the slate to the right or bring rope protection and rappel in after you build your TR. Starts to the left of the waterfall and follows the crack up.

Protection

No bolts yet but great boulders and a tree to use for building TR anchors, bring lots of webbing or static rope and equalize off of the two large boulders.

Nice route, In an nicely shaded area. Trucks or something with ground clearer is highly recommended. As far as the climb goes I was just bouldering and working on down climbing. I didn't top out but I climbed it half way up before down climbing. The lower rock is a little slick but gets more grippy about 5 feet up.
