Jun 15, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Not as well bolted as we thought it’d be. P3 is kinda tricky, and P4 has a bad pendulum potential back into the corner if you blow the move. It’s scenic, about 1hr bike ride in, but wasn’t as fun as hoped.

May 27, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Somewhat contrived, but fun way to top out. Each pitch felt maybe a grade harder, but kinda consistent with Skaha. Alexis led P2 and P5, I linked P3-4. Saw one tick at the top

May 26, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Really fun! Very well bolted, mostly all 5.8/5.9 fun features moves with one crux halfway up right at a bolt. The crux felt stiff though, like 5.10+ personally. 12 bolts. Anchor just has a rap ring, no clips.

May 26, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Used in order 0.75, 2, 3, 4, 1, 0.5, 3, 2 (with draws on each piece). Should have saved the #4 for above the roof (runout but easy without a #4 up there). Didn’t place any nuts, you could maybe place one or two though. Not really crack climbing, only one or two jams, kinda tricky to protect too, just so so.

May 24, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Brought 0.3-4 with double 0.3-2 and nuts, that was about perfect, small/medium nuts def useful. Place the 3 and 4 halfway up after the finger crack, you won’t need them later. Save a #1 for above the final roof at the first anchor. Stopped at the first anchor, felt 10+. Lots of bat poop and a bat in the halfway up crack.

May 24, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Linked with lower wall for one mega ~55m pitch! A few hand jams, one or two finger locks, some really fun climbing! Brought double 0.3-3 and one #4 but never placed the 0.3’s or the #4, should have brought nuts, I’d prolly bring double 0.5-3 and nuts.

May 23, 2025 · Lead / Flash. I felt it was a bit more fun than Plum Line, less sustained too, just two tougher moves. Trad piece seems unnecessary, same as Plum, but if you wanted a piece there a #1 fits, or #2 or #3, but might as well take smaller!

May 23, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Felt kinda stiff and sustained, crimpy climbing. No need for a trad piece, it’s an easy move there, but if you wanted a piece it’s a #0.75 or smaller (0.75 fits, 0.5 would prolly fit too but you only need one). Just chains at top.

May 9, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Really stiff and tough! Feels like it was climbed and bolted by someone who is 6’6”. At the start of P2 the first bolt is too high to clip and you’d need to pull an insecure move. I ended up lasoeing the bolt with an alpine draw and pulling up to it. Fell and pulled through another move higher up. So much technical slab. Rough approach, no trail. Nice walk off. 14 or 15 draws are plenty, 4 single alpine and one double alpine is nice. No need for anything bigger than #1, single 0.3-1 is plenty, prolly even just 0.5-1, no nuts.

May 9, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Pretty fun, easy start, kinda tricky upper 2/3, easy traverse over to anchor with rings. I never used my 0.3’s, but double 0.4-1 and single #2 was good, could even bring triples, I used everything and one or two nuts.

May 9, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Really scenic area! Pretty good climbing, crack gloves necessary, it’s quite a bit of crack but almost always leaning crack. Quite challenging P3. 50 min approach. No need for #3, I’d bring double 0.3-1 and one or two #2’s. Nuts are very useful for first half of P3. Rapped the route with a 70.

Apr 20, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Really great first 4 pitches! We topped out, the last two were decent too. Brought 0.2-4 with triple #2 and double #3, nuts, and 9 draws (one double alpine, two sport draws, the rest single alpines). Placed all the cams linking P1-2, nuts useful on the upper pitches. This was just exactly enough but I’d maybe bring one or two more draws and maybe doubles in 0.4-0.5 size. Radios nice for upper pitches. Prolly didn’t need the 0.2.

Apr 19, 2025 · Lead / Flash. Brought 0.3-4 with double 0.4-2 and nuts and 9 draws (one double alpine, 2 sport draws, the rest single alpine), that was about perfect. P5 tunnel is super chill, it’s P3 that’s scary and tough to protect (if you can do P3, P5 will be a cakewalk even without gear). Backpacks were pretty fine. Radios would be nice. Top out was confusing. Descent was mostly straightforward, one rap near the top, about 1:15 hrs back to the car.
