The crack you'll be avoiding is the one directly below his knee. The shelf you'll start the climb with is marked with a little line. Go up to where he is, then over like he's about to in the photo. There's a good view of the city skyline from up there.

The right side of The Foot Ramp on Chossy Rock. The line is where the ramp starts! You can go higher but the ground isn't flat and the way the rock is, once you get past a certain point (where he is, for example) you'd be landing on the boulder itself.
