Chicken Bone
Mar 22, 2025 · Lead. Continues to be one of the best 5.8s I’ve done, maybe my favorite route at the crag. Consistent, quality 5.8 movement in varied styles with huge exposure. Bolting is exciting and falls are safe but might not be best first 5.8 lead

Walk the Plank
Mar 22, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. Very fun route. Improbable roof moves at 5.8 are exciting and fun. After that crux, climb is a fun cruise to the anchors. Not a great route for top roping bc of how it wanders, roof pull can be a bad tr fall

Fat Boy 5.11
Mar 22, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Blew onsight at top for fat whip. Belayer should wear helmet in case they’re pulled into the roof on a big fall. You can follow holds to the left which is a little easier but not as good climbing. Going straight up through the little crystal pocket and roof is the most fun and keeps it on grade imo

Butterfingers
Feb 22, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Fingers completely numb on thin crux. Beginning powerful but felt very ‘gym’ with big moves on big holds. Figuring out the myriad of possible slimpers to grab after 2nd finger rather tricky

Too Old to Rock and Roll
Feb 22, 2025 · Lead / Redpoint. Really fun route, chill 5.7 climbing to a quality V1-V2ish compression boulder problem? Very cool movement on the boulder, hard to onsight.
